Mono, our creative director, discovered Marlon, a talented producer from Munich who had worked on a song for another artist in our roster. While initially unimpressed with the demos Marlon sent us, Mono and Elias provided detailed, honest feedback. We never asked Marlon to send a second batch of demos, but a week later, out of the blue, Marlon surprised us with a new folder of tracks. He had not only taken our feedback to heart but had also implemented nearly all of it. Mono, a music enthusiast who cannot play a single instrument, had an idea: what if he explained music with words and let Marlon produce it? what if mono does the creative vision behind the collaboration? Elias arranged a studio, and the rest might just be history.
